Maximize operational efficiency
In addition to our own DCI capabilities, we also work with hyperscaler customers to optimize out-of-band server management at data centers. This involves moving away from Ethernet connectivity with one port per server and deploying XGS PON-configured Ciena plugs. The approach can help to dramatically reduce the cost of managing out-of-band servers, while also reducing ‘moving parts’ and therefore technical and support issues.
This is an area where we can pass on innovative solutions developed and implemented by some of the world’s largest hyperscalers to maximize operating efficiency and simplicity – while at the same time reducing network TCO.
