By 2030, with the rapid growth of video and image content nearly two-thirds of network traffic will involve AI. These trends drive forward historic 25% year-on-year traffic increases and impact datacenter architecture, shifting more pressure to the edge of the network. Countless technology use cases—such as surveillance and physical security, basic health assessment, and transport management—also demand the need for increased bandwidth and put strain on existing infrastructures.
